I applaud Dr Sarfati when he declares, “God, the Creator, became flesh, the Incarnation” [2], a subject so wonderfully explored also by Patricia Mondore in the same issue [3]. As an ardent enthusiast of CMI [4], I have no particular wish to be an antagonist of Sarfati’s brilliant ministry or of any other’s ministry.  However, I beg to differ with Sarfati’s extra-Biblical remark that, “God, of course, is Triune”. [5]

The Brisbane-based Creation Ministries International (CMI) does an astounding job in refuting evolution and long-age Creationist beliefs.  They argue staunchly for a special creation by God ex nihilo (Latin for ‘from nothing’) around 6,000 years ago from evidence found in both Scripture and nature.  However, I am increasingly amazed at the obstinate or willing ignorance [1] in their dogma regarding the Godhead.

Amen, Jesus Christ is our Creator – a response to a CMI website article PDF Print E-mail


Although I have never met him, I have much respect, perhaps bordering upon awe, of the brilliance of Dr Jonathan Sarfati.  Sarfati is a Biblical Creationist who works with Creation Ministries International (CMI) [1], an organisation that champions the Biblical view that God created the Universe in six literal 24 hour days around 6,000 years ago.  Sarfati brilliantly refutes the false doctrine of billions of years of evolution in his books, articles and lectures [2].  He is a world class chess champion and can defeat multiple chess opponents whilst he is blindfolded [3].  However Sarfati checkmates himself in the article ‘Jesus Christ is our Creator’ published on the CMI website [4].  Sarfati sets the pieces on the board with a statement on the Godhead:
